I selected Upgrade Weapons, 100 Iron disappeared, and a one-minute timer appeared over the shop.

A minute to upgrade all of the weapons in the village? Unreal. I’d half-expected to see a line of soldiers, each waiting for their own personal upgrade.

When the timer reached zero, I equipped the Sword of Eldrida.

Sword of Eldrida Level 2

The sword of Eldrida is a legendary weapon said to have been crafted by dwarves for Niamh, the White Knight of Lirion. Its blade is made of a rare metal that glows with a fierce, white-hot light, said to be the embodiment of the knight’s enduring spirit and determination.

Damage 13 + Str Modifier (4) 17

Base Damage scales with wielder’s Strength.

The base damage had increased by 4! Not wanting to waste the opportunity, I selected Upgrade Armor and spent another 100 Iron. As the timer ended, I glanced at one of my soldiers as he walked by. His Breastplate said Level 2, and now absorbed 2 Damage.

The changes weren’t huge, but they didn’t need to be. They were enough to give us a better edge. When I checked the Blacksmith again, it read:
